Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
Assistant Station Master: The candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.
Goods Guard: The candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.
Ticket Examiners: The candidates must have completed higher secondary school from a recognised board or institute.
Tech. Grade II (Signal): The candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc) from a recognised university or institute.
Tech. Grade III (Signal): The candidates should have completed higher secondary school or should have diploma in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Microprocessor/TV Engineering/Fiber Optical Communication/Telecommunication/Communication etc from a recognised university or institute.
Age limit:
Age as on January 1, 2016
General: The upper age limit of the candidates should be 42 years.
OBC: The upper age limit of the candidates should be 45 years.
SC/ST: The upper age limit of the candidates should be 47 years.
Pay scale:
Assistant Station Master: Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 2,800 per month
Goods Guard: Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 2,800 per month
Ticket Examiners: Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 2,900 per month
Tech. Grade II (Signal): Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 2,400 per month
Tech. Grade III (Signal): Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 1,900 per month
